on some shit

shit talaga. i don't know naman kasi why i was so hungry upon waking up. i remember eating tons of pizza and pasta last night before going home. i was with anna, russel and gio at avenetto or whatever. anyway so when i woke up i decided to go to mcdo to eat breakfast since mcdo is nearer then jollibee, in all honesty mas masarap ang breakfast ng jollibee compared to mcdo. yesterday jollibee na ako eh. so i decided to buy din the security guard breakfast as wala lang. libre. i thought id have the sausage mcmuffin and then the sekyu's gonna have the longganisa meal. then when i was looking at the prices, from P76 the last time i ate there, it's now effin P80. TAKTE. no way man! i wont spend 80 bucks for their flat longganizas. harang! tae na. maigi pa yung longsilog dun sa may dapitan. P40 pero solve na solve ka na. sarap pa. haaay talaga naman. i hope jollibee wont increase their prices. they'll have my utmost loyalty

PGMA is a SKRULL?!

from Nadz and FilipinoVoices.com

[from Wikipedia] a fictional race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics. In layman's terms, ALIEN! Si PGMA ay isang ALIEN. hahahaha

on taking a break

it rained very hard after my class yesterday. i had this suspicion that espana's gonna be flooded so i told myself, what da heck, i aint gonna be able to make it. but it stopped at exactly 7. that meant i'd be able to bring home the car first since color coding is over. so i changed clothes and then took the lrt to araneta. by the time i arrived, the lobby was beginning to get empty. it was the start of the 3rd quarter. mejo sa tapat pa ng bench ng Air21 ako naglakad papunta ng bench ng ginebra at nakakahiya. lolz. i so miss watching the PBA.

i was just quiet most of the time. reacting to bad calls and nice moves, laughing to funny comments. but that's it, my mouth was just shut, though sometimes i would tell kuya rey's wife a short comment. i was blessed to have a seat in the PBA finals, the big dome was jampacked on a Wednesday night. what more if it's going to be on a sunday? i plan to watch the ust feu game on sunday, then proceed to araneta if the game will be held there.

ginebra won. i was happy for my friends playing for ginebra. they just got thousands of pesos richer last night. and probably millions richer if they win the championship. i went with ronald to his house after the game. he treated us for dinner again, nothing new about it. and even though i've got a job already, he gave me bonus moolah. again...i told myself, it can't be like this forever. what if there's no ronald tubid anymore playing in the pba and there's no generous soul like him in the league. what if it's full of thrifty marlou aquino or lets say willie wilson? lolz. don't get me wrong willie's my friend and i've known marlou for a long time as well. haaay i miss my teen years in the PBA. but then, i wouldn't wanna get myself doing the same thing over and over again, parang langaw na nakapatong sa kalabaw. lolz

here i am, at 10 am. i just woke up. some 7 hours ago, i was in ronald's fortuner leaving valle verde. it's been a long time that i woke up late like this. i work 6 days a week but i aint complaining. im blessed to have a job i somehow like doing. wednesdays and saturdays are my must-get-ready days. but sept 6? ateneo-la salle? come on! only a suspension of classes would allow me to watch such an event. pray pray pray

Feasts, Photos and World Peace

The school celebrated the Feast Day of our patron saint a while ago.

Here are some of my observations:

1. Most seminars and events are focused for FACULTY, not students. No wonder students do not have any rapport or support for the event.

2. Offices received a memo to seize operations from 1-230pm. The Yearbook Office and our neighbor The Benildean was "asked" to close and attend a mass dedicated to the patron saint. "Asked" was just an understatement...it was more of a "forced". Codename Hi-tech was even wondering "Why force me to attend, I'm not even Catholic."
(This one's true...unlike the usual student rebuttal, "huh? i'm Agnostic."

It made me think that it's one of the reasons admin and students have this invisible gap between them. You cannot force someone to like what you like to do. Everything in school is a requirement; and i mean EVERYTHING. You are required to attend parties, events, symposiums, lectures, seminars, plays that you don't even need.

If the event is something worthwhile, then you don't have to force people to attend it. The Eraserheads Concert this coming August 30 is something worth going to. DLSU's College Week is always box-office because of the various events students and teachers can participate. Even COMSCI's CCS Week was a blast (considering COMSCI students are a bunch of geeks).

I believe our school has more creative ways to think of making events, after all, it's an art school. (well...SDA for that matter) FSN is one example.

3. My boss pointed out "Kanina, Mass hindi kayo pumunta...ngayong may free food, dudumugin niyo. Ano ba yan?" Which was ultimately true and shameful for the students...What a bunch of freeloaders.

Then i thought, why give the students free food when you can give them to the poor people outside...or somewhere else (naks, Bayaning Pilipino) After all [again], the Lasallians are supposed to be for the poor, not for freeloaders.

Why do i sound so pakialamero? hahahaha I still want my school to be cool and all awe-inspiring (and really learner-centered) rather than the COLEGIO ng mga SOCIAL AT BOBO.

------

On other stuff, i went to this exhibit featuring works of (diploma course on photography) students at the BLACK BOX Theater. There were 13 concepts...yet only one was worth looking at [based from technical aspects and aesthetics, ayan ah, hindi ko sinabing PANGET yung iba hahaha]. Congratulations for "Breaking the Rules"...you have 4 votes (from me, my managing editor and my two bosses, and probably one from the AVP).

Still, do visit them, it's a way to get away from the stress finals week is giving us.

4 : "10"

hahahahahahaha!

Waaaaaaaaaaahh!!!

(Wala lang, gusto ko lang sumigaw, hekhek)

I feel envy for the people who can write freely and express their thoughts through their blogs... but then that's not enough reason for me to stop, diba diba?

On the other side of things.. I'll reveal them when I receive it (that is kung sisipagin ako). basta meron dung manga. But wait, there's still more. Yung sa Laking National kahit ano... oh well, at least discounted hehehe... By the way, baka bumili ako ng LightWedge Paperback para sa mga manga ko, hekhek.

Sana mabili ko yung Saint Seiya bukas... that is kung makakagising ako ng maaga. Pag ndi ako magising, next week nanaman ang opportunity kong mabili yun.

* * * * * * * * * *

JLPT, which stands for Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

hiragana practice sheet, katakana practice sheet from studyjapanese.org.

Enjoy ^__^

(Tulog na ako, zzzzz)

F1 is not an option

I’m already in a state of constant disbelief from asking for help.

Last time, I learned (from some egotistic psychologist) that depending on others will be your downfall. You cannot press F1 and expect people to appear so you have to be self-sufficient to survive.

Graphics Awards is knocking in my doorstep yet I don’t have a piece that I can submit. Why? Of all the people I asked help from, I only got a bunch of NO’s, one even vanished into thin air, the one who supposedly committed in helping me for the wonderful event. Probably, this might be a sign that I should not even pursue joining.

Coincidentally, the homily yesterday was all about HELP. (Yeah, I got the chance to celebrate mass for the unknown(th) time.)

The priest quoted a song from the famous band “The Beatles”(the band supposedly greater than JC himself.)

“Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?”

The priest pointed out whoever we are, the rich or the poor, comes a point in our lives that we do ask for help…from our parents or friends or even from a total stranger. And in this time of need, we will find someone who will be willing to give time.

Such is a classic case of SYNCHRONITY—the experience of two or more events which occur in a meaningful manner, but which are causally unrelated(see Carl Jung).  I never thought this would be the topic in church, hell, it could be something about God and his almighty whatevers, or JC and bringing the dead to life or some one-sided “good” news.

Probably my cry for help reached somewhere; if these beings can provide me something…they have to make it quick, I’m actually losing my mind thinking where to look for help.

---

On other observations, What is it with people in churches? I may not be believing in the Catholic god or a good role model for all things good and holy but at least I respect the mass. I saw a lot of people texting, talking, and laughing around. Some were not even listening.

Why go to church when you’re not even willing to listen or celebrate the mass?

WHAT A BUNCH OF SHITTY HYPOCRITES!

pardon typos and errors. and no quotes for the moment
